Allergy-Check - Allergy and Parasite Test

Allergy-Check is a rapid immunodiagnostic test for detecting elevated levels of total IgE antibodies in the blood. Total IgE antibodies are produced by the body in response to the presence of parasites or one or more allergens.

The Allergy-Check test should be performed if you experience symptoms that may be related to an allergy, such as: skin rashes and redness, watery eyes, repeated sneezing upon exposure to plant pollen or after contact with animals (dogs, cats, etc.), or as a result of swelling after consuming certain foods.

The test is also performed when symptoms of a parasitic infection are present—such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, changes in appetite, and rashes. In children, teeth grinding and mood swings are often observed.
