Ferri-Check - Test for Anemia (Iron Deficiency)

Ferri-Check is a rapid immunodiagnostic test for assessing ferritin levels in the blood. Ferritin is a protein that stores iron in cells. The test is used to screen for potential iron deficiency (anemia). Anemia caused by iron deficiency is common in children and women of all ages (primarily in menstruating women, at least 20% of whom suffer from iron deficiency).

The Ferri-Check test should be performed if symptoms such as paleness, fatigue, headaches, rapid heartbeat, or shortness of breath occur during exercise—especially during pregnancy or in cases of heavy menstrual bleeding.
