M-Albu-Check-1 Strip - test na albuminę w moczu

The M-Albu-Check-1 Strip is a rapid immunodiagnostic test for detecting the presence of albumin in urine. The test detects pathologically elevated albumin concentrations in urine (above 10 mg/L). Under physiological conditions, albumin is absent or present in trace amounts in urine. High levels of albumin in urine correlate with filtration disorders and suggest kidney dysfunction. Abnormal levels of glucose or triglycerides (fats), diabetes, and hypertension are factors that contribute to the excretion of albumin in the urine.

The M-Albu-Check-1 Strip test should be performed if symptoms such as swelling and headaches occur, as well as in cases of hypertension, diabetes, and metabolic disorders.

The test is also performed as part of kidney disease prevention.
